ESL Pro League – What Should You Look Out For?
So far in this event, we have seen a lot of surprises which are unusual and statistics could easily sway you from a successful betting prediction. First and foremost, G2 is a very lucky team, and I do not think that they will be able to compete against FaZe. French roster got the easiest opponents and in conclusion, they don’t deserve their spot in the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals.
Secondly, mousesports is really looking good on Vertigo despite them not playing this map so often. They proved this in their last match against FaZe where they totally dominated on both T and CT side.
Liquid is not playing on a level we used to see them play. They are making tons of mistakes and I believe that Astralis will capitalize on their mistakes. Let’s face it, Liquid was almost eliminated from the ESL Pro League CSGO by HellRaisers who just recently replaced 3 players on their roster, and that alone says a lot.

ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals – Playoffs Betting
If you are not familiar with ESL Pro League Season 9 playoffs, let me take you for a tour. Two teams qualified for the semi-finals while remaining 4 rosters will battle it out in the quarterfinals. Below you will be able to find our short but insightful betting predictions for both quarterfinal matches.
FaZe – G2
As I briefly mentioned above, G2 was very luck throughout ESL Pro League Season 9, and I believe they will be eliminated from the tournament by FaZe. So far on this tournament, G2 played a total of 4 matches. They came out on top 3 times, while they were defeated only once by NRG.
When it comes to victories, G2 bested Grayhound, Cloud9 and Heroic. Neither of these rosters is considered as the best, but now G2 is facing one of the best CSGO teams in the world. On the other hand, FaZe only played 3 matches on ESL Pro League and they looked more than alright. They defeated both TYLOO and North, while they suffered a defeat in their match against mousesports.
As for the map pool, both teams are capable of playing all the maps in the active pool. However, G2 permabans Mirage all the time, and I simply can’t see them playing it against FaZe. On the other hand, I don’t think FaZe wants to compete on Train. FaZe is definitely a better team on Mirage, Dust 2, Vertigo and Overpass, while G2 is looking good on Inferno, Train, and Nuke.
In conclusion, the way G2 qualified for the playoffs is unbelievable and I don’t think they have what it takes in order to defeat FaZe. Betting on FaZe really holds value, as odds are looking very juicy at the time of writing and our prediction favors FaZe in this best-of-3 series.
Liquid – Astralis
To cut things shorts, I don’t think Liquid will defeat Astralis in this match and this is why. Liquid was battered in their opening match against North and they did not look so good on Dust 2. However, they pulled things back with not so great victories against TYLOO, HellRaisers, and MIBR. On the other hand, Astralis had no problems against Cloud9 and Heroic, but they were simply unlucky in their match against NRG.
When it comes to map pool, I would give a small edge to Liquid, but only for the first map pick. Liquid is capable of competing on Vertigo and Mirage, which are not good maps for Astralis, so this will be a tough situation for the Danes. Astralis, however, is definitely a better team on Inferno and Nuke. As for the other maps, Dust 2 and Overpass are a coin toss.
All in all, I believe that Astralis is coming to this match in a much better form and they definitely have what it takes to defeat Liquid. This will probably be a close series and I have my money on Astralis.
